Ride (1,2,3,4)

Ride is a series of video games that first made its way onto consoles in 2015. This Game has graphics that are so good, a gameplay video once went viral and confused viewers who thought it was the real deal! Sources tell us that the producers of this game used a program called Unreal Engine 4 to create such definition.

The game allows you to decorate the bike of your choice along with the rider outfit. You will then be taken to another screen where you can pick your desired destination. These range from cities to the countryside, and there are various race tracks on there too!

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge (1,2)

We all know and love the Isle of Man TT. This game, developed by Kylotonn & KT Racing provides an exclusive and emmersive experience, taking you on a journey or the popular race course. You can race friends online, with up to 8 people.

The developers have taken on the feedback from the first game. Many were commenting on the poor graphics, and a lot were protesting this. Nevertheless, Ride on the Edge 2 features a gyroscopic effect providing a more ‘real’ touch to the game.

Road Redemption

Does anyone remember the classic game, Road Rash? Originally by EA, the old arcade-style game was first released in 1991. Today’s game holds a similar combat-style outlook. You play a gang member on a motorbike and the aim is to take down everyone you see on the road!

The new edition features split screen, and can be accessed on PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U.

Trials Rising

This game is the latest addition to the Trials series. We were first introduced to Trials Riding back in 2019, and the past 5 episodes have only been 3-4 years apart. So, does that mean we should be expecting a new arrival soon? We’ll try update you if that’s the case!

MotoGP Series

This one is just a few days away! MotoGP is an evolutionary video game series focusing on… you guessed it, the MotoGP! It is a racing game with a bit of simulation to add that little bit extra to it. The 2022 series features over 120 riders and over 20 famous tracks across the world. Emmerse yourself into the shoes of real riders as you take on their biggest real life rivals. As well as racing, the game also features a managerial career, as well as the ability to create a Junior Team.

Affectionately known as the official Motocross game, this one is also created by the masterminds over at Milestone. Like Ride 4, MXGP3 was also developed using Unreal Engine 4, making the graphics as equally outstanding, providing another audience with just the same experience.

This game provides a variety of bikes to choose from, including 10 2-strokes. Every bike is completely customisable and there are plenty of locations to choose from too. One aspect that some players were quite disappointed about was the inability to perform stunts. However, if you’re not bothered about that then this will be right up your street!

Motorbike Garage Mechanic Simulator

I completely forgot that I’d played this, so this is a late addition to the post! This independent game can get repetitive but it’s nice to experience something a bit different. It’s basically what it says on the tin. The aim is to fix customers bikes. Unfortunately you can’t test ride them after, which is what I think this game is lacking. It took me a while to get to grips with it.

This particular game is for Harley fans only, as there doesn’t seem to be any other type of bike on there. However, they may bring out an updated version soon!
