This is a family run guest house and is located about 5 minutes from Aberdeen centre. It known well for giving great biker accommodation, they have a private car park, bike washing and laundry facilities.
The ideal place to start your adventures from, Commercial hotel has welcome arms to all travels but especially bikers. Its run by Bev and Chris who are in fact bikers themselves, so they what we need when arriving at accommodation! They provide free bike washing facilities, free wifi, private parking.
Ardoe is a beautiful 4 star hotel just outside of the centre, although it’s close to the city it sits in 30 acres of stunning countryside. Again this hotel is great to bikers, offering a private parking area and spa after a long days riding!
A perfect B&B close to Aberdeen is Dunnottar. The venue is only 2 minutes from Stonehaven Harbour just around the corner from Dunnottar Castle. The accommodation includes 4 bedrooms all of which are en suite all of which have only recently being refurbished, and they even invite well behaved pets!
This is a really sociable, causal hotel to stay at. The Allargue has 7 letting rooms and a 6 bed bunkhouse, ideal for a weekend away with friends. They offer both modern and traditional food dishes so everyone is covered for dinner! This is a lovely place to relax after cracking some miles out during the days.

Formed in 2006, the GMC operate weekend ride outs between 150 to 400 miles long. They welcome all bikes and riders!
The club covers all of Aberdeen city and Aberdeenshire area, they are a really sociable lot holding rallies, events and loads of ride outs.
This is a really friendly group, meeting the first Wednesday of each month at the Aberdeen Grammar School. They also go on ride outs through the month and offer a membership which involves a newsletters and event details.
Route: Aberdeen – Auchenblae
This is a really nice route, taking you through some stunning scenery including the riding next to the Dee River. The roads are great fun and give you a coastal view, perfect for bikes!
Route Highlights and Nearby Venues:
Stonehaven – One of Scotland’s nicest little coastal towns, great for a lunch stop
Inverbervie – South of Stonehaven is Inverbervie, a unique little town full of cafes and pubs. If you are here we’d suggesting dropping further down to one of the most amazing grande castle estates in Scotland, Glamis Castle. The architecture here is astonishing, definitely worth a few extra miles.
Banchory – 18 miles west of Aberdeen and the largest town in this area. It’s a very interesting place, and if you if already here you should visit Muir of Dinnet. This is a beautiful National Nature Reserves, which is 30 minutes away from Banchory.
Peterculter – Also known as Culter, is a base for tourists that don’t want to stay in Aberdeen centre. Culter is a lovely place to stay or just past through, known for hiking and the famous Culter Railway Station.
