Motorbikes at the NEC - Handy Guide

If you're heading to the NEC for your fix of motorcycles this weekend or even during the week.. Then read on I've got a handy guide for you before you set off for your journey to Birmingham. Although, if you're not going (like me!) then you're not alone.. You can still read all about what is and will be going on over the coming days at the event.

Firstly

The show will be on from Saturday 23rd until the 1st of December so make sure you head that way because you won't see a bike now until 2014!! Right, so what will be going on... Well, there will be lots of British Superbike teams there including champion twins Sam and Alex Lowes along with the big GBMoto Kawasaki livery reveal. Milwaukee Yamaha will also be at the show, so you can meet Tommy Bridewell. I've already listed a few riders, but there are lots more than the ones I've already listed... Tai Woffinden, Tom Sykes, John McGuinness, Leon Haslam, Ian Hutchinson, Conor Cummins, Niall MacKenzie to name a few more. On Sunday the show will host a special day dedicated to the Classic TT while the show on 1st of December will be Isle of Man TT themed.. (and what an awesome year it was for the TT!) But not only riders attending, there will also be celebrity bikers too including Charley Boorman and Tim Glover from Radio TT. Okay so. Bikers, celebrities and dates you can attend done. What about the bikes.. Well, there will be masses of bikes with things you can get involved in as well including a Yamaha off road, 'Get On' if you're thinking of swinging your leg over a bike, Kiddimoto for your little people with lots more and a cinema showing a brilliant movie about our British Champions; Alex Lowes, Sam Lowes, Tom Sykes and Tai Woffinden.. make sure you head over to take a watch, it's not to be missed!

Manufactures

Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Norton, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa and of course Yamaha! Some of the bikes that will be on show include the BMW S1000R, R1200RT and the R1200GS Adventure for all your adventuring needs! Now onto Ducati The all new monster will be in the building ..yes, the Monster 1200 as well as the 1199 Superleggera and of course the 1199 Panigale S! The awesome Honda who have had a fantastic year in racing.. champion with Alex Lowes in BSB, champion with Marquez in MotoGP, winners with Dunlop and McGuinness at the TT! They of course will have their CBR1000RR Fireblade on show along with a number of other models including their CB300R and Crosstourer!

Kawasaki

Another manufacture who has had good season winning the World Superbike championship with Tom Sykes and runner up with Shane Byrne in BSB! They will have their Z1000 on show.. no doubt with the promo girls too.. As well as having Kawasaki's on show they will have the brilliant track days with Chris Walker who will also be using British Superbike tracks this season! With new and old bikes on show you will have a jam packed day of all things bikes! What more could you ask for?
