We Buy Any Bike are sponsoring a racer in the Pre-National Sport 600 2017 Championship. We got to know him a little more in our recent interview...

Age – 24

Karl started riding motorbikes at the young age of 3 when his father got him a toy Ducati motorbike! From then on his love of life on two wheels grew. He purchased his first bike, a Honda Melody 50.

Karl has always had a keen passion for racing. He attended his first race meeting in July 2016 with the Thundersport GB 500 club. Before his first race Karl had only done 4 track days, so was fairly new to the whole thing. He hit the season hard having 5 crashes in 5 race meets, somehow not breaking any bones! Each of the meets had 4 races after Karl got the hang of things. He was quickly winning 1^st place and collecting trophies.

Racing cleanly runs in the blood as Karl is related to one of Yorkshires finest, Dean Harrison.

Dean was top of the Duke Road Race Rankings Championship 2016. He became the second Englishman to win this title since the series began in 2002. Dean is one of Karl’s racing heroes, as well as Rossi of course.

Karl has his sights set on BSB in the future, but for how the training has begun to smash Pre-National Sport 600 2017 - which involves a load of gym sessions and track days.
