Kawasaki Ninja 125

This bike was first introduced to us in 2018 at Intermot Germany, and has since become one of the most popular learner legals out there. Kawasaki’s youngest member is known as the ‘little brother’ of the ZX10R, this is probably down to the styling. Complete with a 125cc engine making a capability of 15HP @10,000 rpm, this bike is perfect for a first-time rider, offering a warm welcome to the Kawasaki community.

Honda CB125 R

Also released in 2018, the successor of the CBR125R is another excellent choice for a first bike. This motorcycle is a very eco-friendly ride. It might not be electric, or hybrid, but it runs on 90mpg and has a range of 200 miles.

KTM 125 Duke

KTM’s 125 Duke is a very sophisticated looking bike, it’s ideal for a first ride and can be anyone’s pride and joy!

Suzuki GSX-R 125

Starting your biking journey on a GSXR is a dream for many. The GSXR family are often viewed as royalty in the motorcycling world. Suzuki surely had a great idea when they introduced a learner legal model to the crew back in 2017. I mean, they were only 30 years late, but nevertheless, the 125 GSXR is one of the most successful models of the family tree.

Hyosung GT125R

We first saw Hyosung’s GT125R in 2006. Boasting a V-twin four-stroke engine, with a frame that pretty much resembles its big brother; the GT250. As it has a weight of 180kg wet, and 167kg dry, it may not be the lightest of the learner legals, but it’s definitely up there with the most popular! This bike is ideal for the taller rider.

Kawasaki Z125

The Z125 is fairly new to the crew, alike its little sister, we saw this beast for the first time in 2018. It bares many features with the Ninja 125 and is similar in many ways. Although, it is a little bit bigger, it's still a perfect learner legal ride!

Suzuki Van Van 125

If you fancy yourself a bike with retro styling, then simply add a Van Van to your garage! Straight from the seventies, the Suzuki Van Van 125 has been a favourite within the community for many decades. Although it may just be a rumour, they’re strikingly familiar, and they’re certainly nifty and very fun to ride!
