How to find the true value of your motorcycle
If you’re looking to sell your motorbike, the best way to find the true valuation is simply to get your wheels in the best condition you possibly can. With this in mind, WeBuyAnyBike has accumulated some of the most important steps that we have found along the way...Step 1:
Firstly, it is advised that you give your bike a really good run. Your best option is to choose a quiet day, on a quiet road with minimal distractions. Pack your phone in your pocket, with the microphone set to record... If you have a phone holder, this would be even better! This point of call will allow you to listen to your bike once you return to the garage; you might even want a second opinion from a friend, to see if there is anything that sounds ‘out of the ordinary’! Along with this, you might wish to pack a notebook to write down anything that might spring to mind whilst you’re on your way. Find a place to pull over and listen to the engine outside of the garage, in a different atmosphere.Step 2:
Once you’re back in the garage, if you’re a bit of a mechanic yourself, try and point out these errors and correct them if you can. If you can’t, just keep track of them to take to a mechanic later.
Step 3:
Now it is time to rinse your bike; give it a good clean, remembering to remove any dirt and grime to give you a clear indication of any damage, such as scratches, dents or breakages on your bike.Step 4:
Your next step is to service your bike! Getting it in the best possible condition for your new owner will show them how good your bike really is! Remembering to check:- Oil Filter
- Tyre Pressure
- Mirrors
- Lights
- General Electrics
Step 5:
The last step of all is to give your bike a good rinse, wax, and polish. If you want to sell your motorbike, this step will guarantee you a sale, evidently, as it will look nice and new!
