Can I Sell My Damaged Motorcycle to We Buy Any Bike?

Here at WeBuyAnyBike, we often get asked: “Will you buy my damaged motorcycle?” – The answer is yes! Scattered around our website, we claim to buy all bikes regardless of their age, mileage, and condition; this counts for damaged bikes too!

Have you have had the misfortune to have been in an accident? Maybe somebody has managed to damage your bike when it was parked up. There are so many heartbreaking situations where things like this happen and you can’t possibly afford the repairs. If you are the owner of a damaged motorcycle and you have no option but to trade it in for cash, look no further!

Top Tips to Prevent your Motorcycle from Damage

Park It In a Protected Area

This one is a tricky one, you want to ideally park your bike where cars are nowhere near it. On the other hand, you want to also find a well lit spot with a fully established CCTV system point right at your pride and joy. We can all park our bikes in our homes where we know there’s more chance of a hurricane damaging them than an actual person. However, when you’re out and about, it’s a whole different kettle of fish and you might want to ‘Google it’ first.

Driver: “I didn’t see you there”
You: “Yes you did, I’m head to toe in Hi-Vis”

This one could include your bike too, but the whole point here is to make yourself as visible as possible, even if it makes you feel like a lollypop lady.

Check it before you ‘Wreck It’

I apologise if that title is a bit brutal, but I felt like taking the opportunity. A lot of motorcycle damage is caused by accidents on the road. Sometimes nobody is to blame other than the bike itself. As motorcycle owners (and even car owners, we won’t let them pass), it is very important that we regularly check our vehicles to make sure that they are going to protect us the best that they can.

  • Oil
  • Brakes & Fluid
  • Mirrors
  • Lights
  • Body

To put it simply; check the whole bike... absolutely everything. If you’re a regular rider, do it routinely, like once a week. If your rides are more sparse, check your bike every time you’re about to turn on the engine.

Advanced Courses

Make yourself a real expert and sign up for an advanced motorcyclist course, here are some the WeBuyAnyBike team recommend:

Listen to the Weatherman

Unless you are an experienced rider who commutes daily for work on his bike, you might want to think twice when you consider riding in the pouring rain or even the snow. I know you're probably thinking 'how can I get experienced if I don't ride in all weathers?!' we get you! Ride in the drizzle bit by bit and you'll get there, just don't go in all guns blazing.

Sell My Damaged Motorcycle for Cash

The tips listed here are just a few small pointers at how to protect yourself whilst you’re on the road. Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to, we can’t put lasers around our bikes preventing from anyone coming close. That includes you too, cars.

A lot of the time, we do get contacted by people who are looking to trade in their bike after spotting their next target. However, we do get a few phone calls a week with people curious about selling their damaged motorcycle, simply because they have no other choice! Here at WeBuyAnyBike, we’re all bikers and we feel the pain when we get these phone calls. Our team will be there to make the process as painless as possible; getting the stress and pressure out of the way so you don’t have to!
